My Story

My name is Stefan Ardelean, a 16 year old entrepreneur. I was born in Romania and at the age of 6 moved to the Netherlands where I attended the European School of Bergen. After 8 years of making great and unforgetable memories there I moved back to Romania in 2021 which marked a new chapter of my life.

I like to call this new chapter of my life the "Learning and Testing Phase" . Once I moved back, I didn't like Romania, so I started finding ways on how to make money on the internet. I started with an easy and almost effortless small side business which got no results but was enough to introduce me to the online space, I started to design Real Estate flyers in Canva for realtors, when I realised no one was answering my emails and opening them, I quickly got fustrated and stopped this small side gig.

After quite a break, I started getting inspired from social media to start a dropshipping store, so that is what I did, I found a product on CJ Dropshipping which I chose to be a small train humidifier, created a Shopify store, ordered the product and created a TikTok page posting organic content with the humidifier. After about 3 months of bearly any views on the humidifier and no sales, I decided to stop the Shopify subscription and find something else.

So the next business idea of mine was to create a candy store, I realised there was only one candy company selling candy from abroad in Romania, so I thought I could compete if i had smaller prices. I decided to create a draft website and just build it out with all the products, descriptions and everything I would sell. Also while I was adding them, I was researching for those products from suppliers and wholesalers, when I realised I could make the store from over 1000 products and that it was going to be to expensive, I decided to stop. I worked on the candy store for about 9 months.

We are slowly starting to reach the present. I wanted to create a business where there was little to almost no startup cost which would yield lots of results and huge profit margins. That is when I came across the agency space. I watched hours of videos to learn every single aspect. Once I learned to deliver the service which isn't needed if you can have someone outsource the work for you I started doing outreach, almost every method of outreach you can think of I did, whether if it's applying for jobs on UpWork, or posting a gig on Fiverr to sending hundreds of Loom videos, to Linkedin outreach which I still do today, running ads on the internet or even cold calling, I tried almost all of them.

I was getting some alright results from outreach, I talked to some people which had huge companies but never got the chance to work with them, that is when it all changed in summer 2023. I was getting way more many meetings, people were finally agreeing to work with me. One of the main reasons I got more meetings was from cold calling, that is when you get a yes or no answer which is what you want.

 

I was still working things out with people until I signed my first client mid November 2023. I got this client through Linkedin and took me about a couple months to sign. Besides him I have a couple more but I want to say he was my first client ever.

 

I started in the agency space in the summer of 2022, and as I am writing this it's January 2024, the point is you have to be patient and put in the work, could've I done faster and in half the time to be as successful as I am now, absolutely, but it all depends on what type of person you are.

 

So, get back to work and if you dream big enough, one day you will achieve your goals.
